I love this Punisher drawing! It's based on a Ross Andru drawn issue of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Andru is one of my favorite superhero artists ever. His storytelling I feel is about the best there ever was. He really knew how to pace out his panels, and compose each panel with a flair for drama.
You're among my favorite 'modern' cartoonists, so it's pretty cool to see you and Andru intersect!
Yes, Ross Andru is my favourite Spider-Man artist. Maybe because I read those issues before I read the Romita ones. Anyway, both of them were craftsmen, something that is missing in a lot of modern comics.
